Britain Show: There seems to be some doubt whether Adrian Heryet will be appearing at the Britain show, as I gather he has not been training very consistently of late and is going all out later for the Universe.
Paul Nash has now confirmed that he will not be on his way to S. Africa. However, Earl Maynard is in terrific shape, as usual, and looking forward to the show. I have arranged with Bill Stevens to present a fifteen-minute item with another mighty man, Dennis McNamara, British Amateur heavyweight wrestling champion and Olympic Games representative. Dennis caused a sensation in Tokyo by throwing the local Japanese idol. Bill and Dennis train together and will show us some of their favourite lifting and then have a go on the mats. I am sure we will see something to remember from these two mighty men.
Congratulations to John Citrone and his wife Connie (formerly Connie Reilly), who were married recently. John was married on the same day as his twin brother, who does not share his P.C. interests. Both John and Connie are in the Mr. and Miss Britain finals.
